Apple just released iOS 10.3 beta for developers and within has surprised with a new Find My AirPods feature that allows users to locate their missing cord-free Apple earbuds. The feature lives inside Apple’s Find my iPhone app, which allows users to locate their missing iOS devices on a Map via iCloud and a standalone iOS app. But since the AirPods rely on Bluetooth connectivity, it will only be able to locate the AirPods if they are in range of your other Apple devices....

Apple has released the first software update for Apple Watch today with the release of Watch OS 1.0.1. The update is available through the Apple Watch app on iPhone. The update measures in at 51.6 MB and includes “performance improvements and bug fixes” as Apple notes. Apple has released the first iOS 11.1, tvOS 11.1, and macOS 10.13.1 public betas for iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, and Mac. Each public beta versions come one day after the release of the first developer beta updates to iOS 11, tvOS 11, and macOS 10.13. None of the new public betas appear to introduce any new user-facing features, at least in the first betas, although we expect Apple Pay Cash, Messages in iCloud, and AirPlay 2 to launch during a future update....

Alongside an update for Logic Pro X today to version 10.3, GarageBand for iOS is also getting an update that introduces Logic integration, a refreshed design, and a handful of new features. Perhaps most notably, version 2.2 of GarageBand for iPhone and iPad introduces a mobile version of the Alchemy virtual synth that it picked up through its Camel Audio acquisition and first integrated into Logic last summer. Apple has now released iOS 11.2, bringing the fix for the repeated crashes users experienced since the date rolled over to December 2, as we reported on earlier today. iOS 11.2 also includes Apple Pay Cash, for peer-to-peer payments between friends in the US, but it is not yet available to use (it will be activated OTA in a few days). Apple has released a handful of silicone and leather cases for the new iPhone SE. There are three silicone cases for the device, priced at $35, and three leather cases, priced at $45. iPhone SE leather cases are available in three colors: midnight blue, black, and PRODUCT(RED). You can order the leather cases now, with deliveries starting on April 17. iPhone SE silicone cases area also available in three colors: pink sand, white, and black....

Apple has released the second tvOS 11.3 public beta for Apple TV (fourth gen) and Apple TV 4K. tvOS 11.3 beta follows the release of tvOS 11.2.5 for all customers. After an initial Amex-only launch last month, Apple Pay is seeing a full roll-out today in Singapore, with Visa, MasterCard and five major banks on board. This makes Singapore the sixth country to get Apple Pay, after the U.S., UK, Canada, Australia and China. Singapore was a good target for Apple, as contactless payment is already extremely well-established in the country … Citibank, HSBC, ANZ and Maybank still do not work with Apple Pay [but] Ms Bailey said Apple is working to bring more banks on board....

Apple’s official list of participating banks and credit unions supporting Apple Pay has grown by more than a dozen today. This means that even more people can start using Apple Pay to pay for purchases using the iPhone 6 or Apple Watch at hundreds of thousands of participating merchants. Apple is continuing to build up its library of original content. Deadline today reports that Apple has ordered a series called “See” from Steven Knight. The science fiction drama comes from a joint venture between Chernin Entertainment and Endeavor Content… Apple’s order is straight-to-series, which means there won’t a “pilot episode,” but rather the series will immediately commence full production. “See” was written by Knight, who is best known for his work on British television show “Peaky Blinders....

Apple Pay is now available in yet another country. Apple today has updated its website and Apple Pay support page to reveal that the service is now available in Singapore. Through a partnership with American Express, users in Singapore can now take advantage of the company’s mobile payments solution. The expansion to Singapore means that Apple Pay is now available in the United States, Canada, China, the United Kingdom, and Australia for a grand total of six countries....

Apple has just released the first beta versions of new software updates for each of its platforms: iOS, OS X, tvOS, and watchOS. iPhone and iPad get iOS 9.3 beta 1, the Mac gets El Capitan 10.11.4 beta 1, Apple TV can test tvOS 9.2 beta 1, and Apple Watch users can try watchOS 2.2 beta. Interestingly, iOS 9.2.1 and OS X 10.11.3 are both still in beta so we’re seeing multiple betas running at the same time....

Finally, putting an end to all the speculations Apple Releases iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and the most awaited device iPhone XR. The latter was earlier rumored as iPhone 9 and iPhone XC. The devices were released at the Gather Round Event at Steve Jobs Theater. This time the only catchy change that takes place is the new chipset which is the Apple’s A12 Bionic chip. Last month Apple introduced the first Activity Challenge for Apple Watch users on Thanksgiving Day, and now it appears a ‘Ring In the New Year’ challenge will be the next Activity Challenge. Apple has released the third OS X 10.11.4 public beta for non-developer testers. Public beta testers running the El Capitan pre-release can find the new software update through the Mac App Store. The latest public beta update follows the third developer beta of the same update earlier this week. Apple this evening sent an email to podcasters outlining some reminders about changes to the Apple Podcasts platform, as well as an announcement that makes podcast submission easier for hosting partners… First and foremost, Apple reminded podcasters that Podcast Analytics is currently in beta and allows creators to see more detailed information about listener patterns and show performance over time.
