Apple is releasing the first developer beta of watchOS 6.2.5 today. This comes after Apple began beta testing of iOS 13.4.5 and other updates yesterday, oddly leaving Apple Watch out until now.
Update: watchOS 6.2.5 is now available to developers.
watchOS 6.2.5 likely focuses on bug fixes and performance improvements. Apple is also likely prepping watchOS 6.2.1 for a public release soon, perhaps as early as later this week or early next week.
Apple yesterday started the beta testing process of iOS 13.4.5 following last week’s release of iOS 13.4. iOS 13.4.5 is an update focused on bug fixes and performance improvements, but it also includes a few other changes and details:
- iOS 13.4.5 beta code corroborates a new iPhone model with Touch ID, Express Card, and future CarKey support
- iOS 13.4.5 beta includes new option to share songs from Apple Music on Instagram Stories
Apple is also currently beta testing iPadOS 13.4.5, macOS Catalina 10.15.5, and tvOS 13.4.5. We expect all of these updates to be released to the public in the coming weeks.
