iOS 8 is scheduled to be released over-the-air next week on September 17th for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch running iOS 7 with a list of new features including iCloud Drive; a new Health app; support for app extensions and third party keyboards; continuity features that bridge iPhone, iPad, and Mac; new Family Sharing functionality; and more. iOS 8 will support iPhone 4S and later, iPad 2/iPad mini and later, and iPod touch 5th generation.
The iOS 8 GM seed is available now via the iOS Developer Center. We’ll be digging in to the new seed and report on any changes in the new version. As always, email tips@9to5mac.com if you see anything interesting.
