Two weeks after the second developer beta, Apple has released iOS 11.3 beta 3 for registered developers to test on iPhone and iPad. We’ll dig in to the new version and detail changes below.

- iPod touch support returns with iOS 11.3 beta 3
- No more signs of AirPlay 2 for now
- iOS 11.3 beta no longer attempts to pair HomePods in stereo mode

New Issues
- After updating a device to iOS 11.3 beta 3 the host computer may not recognize the device.
Workaround: Restart the the iOS device and reconnect to the host computer. Resolved Issues
- iOS 11.3 beta 3 now supports iPod touch (6th generation).
iBooks
Resolved Issues
- Managed books now open reliably in iBooks. (37124818)
MediaPlayer
- The startItem property of MPMusicPlayerMediaItemQueueDescriptorAPI isno longer ignored. (33567879)
Messages
- Messages threads should no longer have a delay when opened. (35394897)
Music
- Using Music with VoiceOver or Switch Control should now work as expected. (36998727)
WiFi
- If you experienced any issues on iOS 11.3 beta 2 or earlier of Wi-Fi not connecting automatically, dropping off, or disconnecting unexpectedly, please go to Settings -> WiFi, tap the Information button (i) next to the network name, and verify that the Auto-Join switch is on. (36559685)
