Apple has released multiple new betas for testing ahead of release. iOS 11.2.5 beta 7, watchOS 4.2.2 beta 5, and macOS 10.13.3 beta 6 are all now available on Apple’s developer center and over-the-air. Excluded is any new tvOS 11.2.5 beta, although a new version was released earlier this week.

Each new beta has a large download size which suggests these will be the final release and the same versions that go out of customers, possibly next week. We’ll update with any notable changes discovered in the new releases compared to previous betas.

The latest beta follows the official release of iOS 11.2.2 for iPhone and iPad. We haven’t seen version numbers in between the official release and the beta release (so maybe these are placeholder numbers pending additional bug fix updates).

As far as changes, based on the version number, we expect this to focus on bug fix and security improvements. We’re also seeing early signs of AirPlay 2 returning.

Apple has also promised new futures in future iOS updates including transparent battery health data, the ability to disable performance throttling on iPhones with older batteries, and a fix for the chaiOS bug that affects Messages.

The new version of iOS no longer includes Apple’s Feedback app which suggests this is indeed the version expected to ship to customers.
