Apple has launched a new campaign to highlight both the new Apple TV and the many games and entertainment services on its App Store with a new series of short video clips. Each 15 second video starts with the same Apple TV graphic, then promotes a popular game or video service app on the new Apple TV with some gameplay or a popular show available on the service, and ends with the same multicolor graphic. So far these clips promote Netflix, HBO NOW, Asphalt 8, Disney Infinity 3.0 Edition: Star Wars, and Crossy Road. You can view each one below:

The new fourth-gen Apple TV launched at the end of October. It runs tvOS, a new platform from Apple with its own App Store and support for Bluetooth gaming controllers like the SteelSeries Nimbus. Apple also has a new controller for the set-top box called Siri Remote, which lets you search for movies and TV shows across multiple apps including iTunes, HBO, Netflix, Hulu, and Showtime with more coming soon. The redesigned remote also uses a trackpad for navigating rather than a D-pad and can control volume on most TVs and home theaters.
While apps like Netflix and HBO NOW were available on the 3rd-gen Apple TV, the new versions have more freedom in their designs and look more like iPad and web apps. Games like Asphalt 8 and Crossy Road shown in the clips are totally new to the Apple TV experience.
When Apple first demoed the new Apple TV at an event back in September, it used this video to show off the new features:

Since then we’ve seen a number of new apps come to the Apple TV for the first time, including these in our favorites roundup and our day one picks, as well as others like Plex.
