Apple this week added over 30 more banks and credit unions to its list of those that support Apple Pay in the US. It also added an additional five countries that now support the service in Australia. Head past the break for the full list.

The additions for Australia come as a report late last month questioned the fate of Apple Pay in the country, claiming that banks have been denied a request to negotiate with Apple as a group. The stalled negotiations have resulted in three of Australia’s biggest banks– Commonwealth, Westpac, and National Australia Bank– not yet supporting the service. Those issues haven’t stopped other institutions in the country from rolling out support, however, and this week Lombard Finance, Once Credit. P&N Bank, WAW Credit Union, and Wyong Shire Credit Union officially join the list.

The 30 new additions for the U.S. this week now puts Apple at over 1600 banks and credit unions support across the U.S. Outside the U.S., Apple Pay is currently available at through select banks and card providers in Canada, France, Russia, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom, China, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, Singapore, and, as mentioned above, Australia. The company most recently launched the service in Spain.

Earlier this week Apple Pay executive Jenn Bailey said the company expects that two-thirds of the top 100 retailers will support Apple Pay by next year. Apple also recently launched its Apple Pay on the web platform, allowing the service to start gaining share among online payment platform for website checkouts.
